Moringa oleifera · development stage
We are engineering a moringa leaf to carry the signature compounds of the world's medicinal plants at once, and a seed that yields oil, protein and sprouts. Two products, one tree.
Where this comes from
The Lord Almighty created Adam from the earth. Plants are life direct from the earth too, the same source and the same making, and they walked that path before us.
Eve was not formed from dust a second time. She was made from Adam's side, from living tissue that already existed. Read one way, that is a design taken from a living template.
We make no claim about how literally any of it should be read. It is the pattern that drew us here: life made from earth, and then life made from life.
Moringa is earth made into leaf. What we add to it is taken from other living things, the recipes rather than the plants. Nothing here is made from nothing.
Research concepts
The leaf
Moringa leaf is already among the most nutrient-dense things that grows: more protein per gram than most greens, with real vitamin A, vitamin K, calcium and iron, untouched. That is the floor, not the ceiling.
The sulfur compounds stay inert until an enzyme in the leaf releases them, and heat destroys that enzyme. A boiled leaf keeps its protein and minerals and loses the chemistry it was built for. Eat it raw, or dry it gently.
The method
A plant does not hold curcumin the way a jar holds honey. It holds a recipe: a short list of instructions telling the cell to take two ingredients it already stocks and join them. Turmeric's curcumin recipe is two instructions long, and that is the whole difference between turmeric and a plant that cannot make it.
So we do not cross turmeric with moringa. Genomes that far apart cannot merge, and no technique changes that. We copy the instructions, and moringa starts making curcumin from material it was already carrying. Nothing of the turmeric plant ends up in the tree.
Which recipes work comes down to one question: does the host already stock the ingredients? That is why the donor list is short and specific rather than a wishlist, and why some famous compounds are permanently out of reach.

Twenty-nine donors, plus moringa as the host. Which genes, how they attach and in what order are not published.
One of our secrets
Getting new genetic material into a woody plant, and growing a whole tree back from it, is the gate everything else waits behind. For moringa, nobody has published it.
Our approach to that gate is one of the things we keep. Light, finely divided. Threads of it, each at its own wavelength, holding and placing genomes rather than firing them in.
We will say what it is when there is a tree to show for it. Until then a description is only a claim, and we would rather have the tree.
Stated plainly
A compound profile is not a health outcome, and we would rather say so here than have you find out later.
Every figure here is a design target. There is no plant, no product and no trial. The first technical gate, getting new genetic material into moringa and growing a whole plant back, has never been published by anyone. The grove is real today; the tree is not.
Zinc, selenium, iodine and the rest are elements. No gene makes an atom. Where the tree is planted decides them.
Alkaloids and root saponins require structures set by development long before the chemistry runs. Adding enzymes does not add a cell type. The grove covers these.
Which is why absorption is engineered deliberately here rather than assumed. Several of these compounds also compete for the same liver enzymes.
This is a nutritionally dense food with an unusually broad phytochemical range. It is not a treatment, a cure, or a therapy for any condition.
